A sad smile...

This morning, I urgently needed a smile, even a tiny one. I pulled one out of the bottom drawer on the bottom of the dresser by the window. It was there all along with the socks and other things. I must have just dumped it there on a day when I had many lying around. And now it was all folded and wrinkled and sad. I tried to find more, but they were all gone. I do not even know where to look. I am wearing a smile now, this dark wrinkled smile, and I hope that no-one will notice. But it is in my face and so all I can do is to not leave the house, and just hope for the best. But tomorrow will be even worse?
And while I was looking for the smile, I also discovered that I had lost the sense of rhythm.

maybe later today, or this evening, you'll get lots of smiles again so that you can save some to wear tomorrow?

"When you're weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;
I'm on your side. When times get rough
And friends just can't be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down."

Friends can always be found...
You just have to ask!

Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you. These comments made me smile. : )
Thank you.
I should be more careful when writing in the morning sometimes. The world seems to be sad at times, when things are not really half bad.
The day was really good and sunny and very relaxed...
Thank you again. : )

Witold, : )

The police horses have teeth as big as marshmallows. :) and if you stand real still they will too and let you pet them without snapping their jaws. Come on, go and give them a smile, say hi : ) they will smile back, and the world will be beautiful again....really : )
