Oh, and because we were in Chinatown I was able to buy myself some tuna candy. Little cubes of fried and dried tuna wrapped for individual consumption. Delicious stuff. I will have to go back there and get some of that Cod-candy. I am serious, this stuff tastes unusual but great.
After the shoot I was shown a place that sold Japanese DVDs for quite cheap, all real no bootlegs. I got the DVD-Collection of Studio Ghibli, a 12 Movie, 6 DVD set $72. A real deal. I can not tell you what the titles of the 12 movies are though, because they are all in Japanese with Chinese Subtitles. (And English subtitles, as well...) I know that Princess Mononoke (Mononoke Hime) is one of them. Totoro is another. Kiki’s delivery service is there too. THese are basically 12 classics by STUDIO GHIBLI.
